THE INFLUENCE OF SUGAR DIFFERENT SOURCES ON THE MILK PRODUCTIVITY OF HOLSTEIN-FRIESIAN COWS
31.03.2026
Abstract
The article examines the influence of sugar different sources on the milk productivity
of Holstein-Friesian cows under the conditions of farms in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The research
was carried out at the JSC “Astana-Önim” and the LLP “En-Dala”, where mineral salt licks and grain
molasses were used as additional sources of easily digestible carbohydrates. It has been established
that the sugars inclusion into the diet contributes to an increase in milk yield, improved feed intake,
and balanced energy metabolism. The use of these supplements made it possible to reduce feed
conversion and to maintain live weight of the animals at the beginning of lactation.
