THE INFLUENCE OF USING CORNAGE (EARLAGE) IN RATIONS ON THE PRODUCTIVE AND ECONOMIC INDICATORS OF BEEF PRODUCTION UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF THE FIRM “KazBeef”

Abstract
The present study is devoted to assessing the efficiency of using earlage in feeding young
cattle for fattening under the conditions of partial replacement of grain concentrates. The theme
urgency is determined by the need to reduce feed costs, to increase animal productivity, and to
improve the quality characteristics of beef under the circumstances of rising concentrate prices and
limited feed resources. Earlage is a multicomponent feed mixture that includes succulent and coarse
forages, as well as by-products of the agro-industrial complex. It is considered as an affordable and
economically viable component of fattening rations.
