USE OF PRODUCTS PREPARED WITH WOODY GREENS (NEEDLES) IN DAIRY CATTLE FARMING

Abstract
The article presents the results of scientific research on the use of woody green (needles)
products, which have been used as feed additives and a source of biologically active substances
to improve the health and productivity of animals. The aim of the study was to analyze the materials
presented in the available documentation on modern feed principles and biopreparations used with
animals, biological processes, cattle productivity, dairy direction with an assessment of economic
indicators. The use of woody green products (Coniferous Energy Supplement – CES, Yogurt for calves) in dairy farming improves animal health and increases their productivity by increasing
digestibility and optimizing metabolism. Introducing CES into the diet promotes post-calving
recovery and improves reproductive performance in animals. A pine-based ointment has a positive
effect in treating mastitis as an adjuvant. These products use reduces the cost of producing 1 centner
of product and increases profits.
